KENNETH FOUGHT    262-681-2938
Guitar
Monday, Thursday
All ages, all levels.
I have been playing the guitar for over 40 years and have been teaching music for over 35 years. I am a 1999 graduate of UW Parkside with a B.A. in music, (classical guitar performance), and I was the first student in that school's history to graduate with the jazz studies emphasis. Another great educational experience was my year at the famed Musician's Institute (G.I.T.) completing the then 1-year program as well as pursuing private studies with Pat Martino and Robben Ford.  I have performed in a variety of groups at many venues in the Midwest and on the West Coast. My educational philosophy is to accept students of any age and level of ability and to tailor the lessons to the needs of that individual. I am comfortable teaching all styles of music such as blues, rock, metal, jazz, funk, R&B, classical, country, folk, etc. Students can learn improvising/soloing, learning songs by ear as well as by the note, music theory, composition/songwriting and whole variety of related subjects. I strive to make learning an enjoyable experience for both of us. I teach electric and acoustic guitar, electric bass guitar, mandolin and ukulele. I offer lessons in Milwaukee and in Racine. Why not try a lesson this week?
